Emergency Relief

Important Information

Emergency Relief (ER) enables young people aged 15-24 years from the northern suburbs access a small amount of financial support if they are experiencing unforeseen difficult circumstances.

Most often support takes the form of a food voucher or smartrider for public transport. Yet in special circumstances assistance may be provided for other purposes.

Access Information

ER is available by appointment on Tuesday and Thursday from 1:00pm – 2:30pm.

Young people are encouraged to make an appointment during these times by telephoning (08) 9300 2677.

Community Support

ER is currently sponsored by Lotterywest and the Department of Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs.
